Zakat is the name of

 financial worship. 

     The

 hadith mentions five basic

 tenets of Islam, one of

 which is Zakat. 

The testimony of the

 Prophet (peace and

 blessings of Allaah be upon

 him) and being a true

 Messenger of Allaah

 include establishing

 prayers, paying Zakat,

 fasting Ramadaan and

 performing Hajj.

Zakat is obligatory

 not only on the

 Muhammadan

 Ummah but also on

 all the Prophets.

Prayer and Zakat are

 obligatory in the

 Shari'ah of all the

 Prophets of Israel.

 

 

In the Holy Qur'an,

Allah Almighty has

 commanded all the

 prophets to offer

 prayers.

 

O my beloved

 Prophet, receive

 Zakat from the

 wealth of your

 companions and

 purify their wealth.

The second meaning

 of Zakat is to

 increase.

 

It is a different

 matter that the

 global economy

 develops only when

 the buyer has

 wealth.

 

The religion of Islam

 has made the

 worship of Zakat

 obligatory on every

 teacher and there

 are great promises

 for those who do not

 pay Zakat.

 

Those who hoard up

 gold and silver and

 do not spend in the

 cause of Allah, ie, do

 not pay Zakat, are

 promised a painful

 punishment.

 

The Prophet (peace

 and blessings of

 Allaah be upon him) 

said in view of the

 importance of

 prayer and zakaah.

 

He who does not

 offer prayers has no

 religion and he who

 does not pay Zakat

 has no prayers.

The syllabus of Zakat

 is as follows:

 

If a person has seven

 and a half tolas of

 gold or fifty-two and

 a half tolas of silver, 

or has currency notes

 of the same value.

 

If there is more

 then it is called

 Sahib Nisab. 

 

Zakat will become

 obligatory on him and after

 one year, it will become

 obligatory to spend one

 fortieth of it ingohe way of

 Allah.

اس صدقہ سے مراد زکوٰۃ ہے اور صدقہ

 فقراء، مساکین، کام کرنے والوں اور 

دلوں کے مصنف پر فرض ہے۔ زکوٰۃ مال

 کی بیماریوں کا علاج ہے۔ زکوٰۃ کے بہت

 سے سماجی فائدے ہیں۔ زکوٰۃ بھیک کو
 ختم کرنے کا ذریعہ ہے۔ زکوٰۃ ایک 

بہترین معاشی محرک ہے۔ زکوٰۃ ذخیرہ

 اندوزی کو بھی ختم کرتی ہے۔ زکوٰۃ 

غیر فطری معاشی عدم مساوات کو

بھی ختم کرتی ہے۔

This charity means Zakat

 and charity is obligatory on

 the poor, the needy, the

 working people and the

 author of hearts. Zakat is

 the cure for diseases of

 wealth. Zakat has many

 social benefits. Zakat is a

 means of eliminating

 begging. Zakat is an

 excellent economic

 stimulus. Zakat also

 eliminates hoarding. 

Zakat also eliminates

 unnatural economic

 inequality.

:زکوٰۃ کی ادائیگی

:زکوٰۃ کی ادائیگی کا طریقہ 

نصاب والے ہر شخص پر جب اس کے

 مال پر سال گزر جائے تو زکوٰۃ ادا کرنا

 واجب ہے۔

  # . Method of Paying Zakat: 

It is obligatory on every

 person with the syllabus to

 pay Zakat when the year

 has passed on his property.

ایک شخص پہلے ہی زکوٰۃ ادا کر چکا

 ہے اور اگر اسے کسی اہم جگہ کی

 ضرورت محسوس ہو تو وہ پہلے سے

 نیت کر کے اگلے سال زکوٰۃ ادا کر سکتا

 ہے۔ دینی مدارس کے طلبہ کے لیے اس

 کا خرچ کرنا بہت ثواب کی بات ہے۔

 توفیق عطا فرمائے۔

It is very rewarding for the

 students of religious

 schools to spend it.
